I recently shifted my personal schedule to support a habit I’ve neglected and wanted to nurture in a different way. I’ve been writing professionally and otherwise for most of my life. I have won awards, been on the cover of magazines (my stories, not me), was the editor of my school paper and later an editor for a professional publication for a time.
Even when I wasn’t writing professionally, I still wrote. I write this letter each week, I have a journal and I do other small stories and such here and there. I learned a long time ago, I write best in the morning. So recently, I decided to change by bedtime to an hour earlier so I will get up and write each morning. And I’m happy to say I’ve been doing it consistently for a month.
In that time, I have started what I’m calling a book-in-progress. It’s fiction. Not yoga-related, but something creative I get to work on every day.
I’ve attached the link below if you would like to read along. New chapters hit my website Tuesdays at 6am. Enjoy!
